Hey, how was your July? Mine was not the best so far this year. I only sewed up 6.25 yards, 3.25 yards of which was new fabric. Not great! Typically, July is not my best sewing month. It’s summer and Eric and I are busy: our anniversary, 4th of July, and just general being outside. To make matters worse, I haven’t blogged about a single thing I made. I didn’t even get around to posting about some of the topics I thought I would for the Stashbusting Sewalong. I am really hoping my sewjo returns this month.
Speaking of August, do you know what will be happening at the end of the month? I am co-hosting the Sew Long Summer Sewalong! We plan on celebrating the end of summer and looking forward to fall by sewing. We will provide you with lots of motivation and inspiration to get you cutting and stitching! This sewalong is the brain child of Mahlica of Mahlica Designs and I am so honored she is allowing me and my other co-hosts to join in the fun with her. Who are the other co-hosts you ask? Summers can be busy, don’t feel bad! I may be able to do one week of the sewalong, but I definitely can’t crank out four projects that quickly right now, lol.
I did not see a dress in July. But I wrote a ton, so I guess it’s a fair trade.
I can’t wait to see more of your projects!
